广东省质量协会（GDAQ，以下简称广东质协）成立于1980年，是全国质协系统的重要组成部分,是广东省科学技术协会团体会员。接受广东省民政厅监督管理和中国质量协会、广东省工信厅、广东省市场监管局、广东省商务厅业务指导；同时得到省总工会、共青团省委、省妇联等关心和支持，并与各地市、各行业协会形成合作网络，充分发挥优势，规划和推进质量活动。
广东质协的发展战略：服务大质量，促进大发展。使命：传播先进质量理念、方法和技术，组织各种形式的质量推进活动，提供专业化的质量服务，为提升个人能力、组织和国家的竞争力做出贡献。愿景：成为华南及粤港澳地区最有影响力的质量组织。核心价值观：质量；诚信；人本；创新。核心业务：会员发展与服务，品牌培育与建设，质量研究，质量评价，质量培训，质量咨询，质量资讯，质量激励，质量交流和质量推进活动。
2012年，经广东省民政厅审核批准，广东质协成为广东省省级社会组织中首批具备承接政府职能转移和购买服务目录的机构之一。2016年1月，经广东省全省性社会组织评估委员会全体会议终评，获得广东省专业类社会团体评估5A等级；被省人社厅确认为“广东省省级专业技术继续教育施教机构”和中国质量协会授予“全国用户满意辉煌二十年优秀推进组织”。2017年被广东省科协认定为综合示范学会。2018年被省社会组织总会认定为优秀社会组织。2019年被广东省科协评为科技社团五星学会。2020年4月被中国质量协会授予2019年度全国质协系统先进单位。
广东质协成立40年，开展了大量卓有绩效的工作，树立了“专业不可替代，规范值得信赖”的品牌形象，受到上级单位、广大企业和社会各界的一致好评。
广东质协拥有一支由中山大学、华南理工大学、华南农业大学、暨南大学、广东工业大学、广东技术师范学院等大专院校的教授、学者以及广大企业内质量管理专家组成的学术研究机构--广东省质量协会学术工作委员会；拥有一批专业理论水平高、实践经验丰富的资深质量咨询师、评价师和质量调解师组成的机构--广东省质量协会用户委员会；同时拥有一批国家级和省级质量管理小组活动诊断师组成的机构--广东省质量管理小组工作指导委员会；拥有一批在质量管理及相关专业领域从事标准化工作且有较高理论水平与丰富实践经验的委员组成的机构--标准化技术委员会。以及传播和发展丰田生产方式，消除和避免一切浪费的精益生产管理委员会；旨在加强国际间经贸协作，减少贸易壁垒，促进公平贸易的广东省公平贸易工作站。另外在佛山职业技术学院合作建设广东省质量管理人才培养培训基地、广东省质量协会（佛山）研究中心，为广东省各单位培养培训质量品牌管理人才，深入推进产学研合作。
Instruction of Guangdong Association for Quality
Guangdong Association for Quality (Acronym: GDAQ) was founded in 1980. It is one of the most important parts of the national quality association system and a member of Guangdong Provincial Association for Science and Technology. It is supervised by Guangdong Provincial Department of Civil Affairs. It receives the professional guidance from China Association for Quality, Department of Industry and Information Technology of Guangdong Province, Guangdong Administration for Market Regulation, Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province. Meanwhile, it is supported by Guangdong Federation of trade unions, Guangdong Provincial Committee of Communist Youth League, Women's Federation of Guangdong. It builds cooperation networks with many associations from different regions and industries for designing and promoting quality activities.
GDAQ takes ‘Serving Great Quality, Promoting Great Development’ as its own strategy. Its mission is to bring in the advanced concepts, methods and techniques of quality, organize quality promotion activities in various forms, provide professional quality services, and contribute to the enhancement of competitiveness for individuals, organizations, and the nation. Its vision is to become the most authoritative and powerful organization on quality. The core values are Quality, Honesty, Humanism, Innovation. The core serves are brand cultivation and construction, quality research, quality evaluation, quality training, quality consultation, quality information, quality technology exchanges and quality promotion.
In 2012, approved by Guangdong Provincial Department of Civil Affairs, GDAQ has become one of the first batch of institutions that are available to undertake the services of the functions transferred by government. In Jan 2016, it was awarded as a 5A Class Professional Organization of Guangdong Province, was recognized by Human Resources and Social Security Department of Guangdong Province as ‘Guangdong provincial professional and technical continuing education and teaching institution’, and awarded as ‘National Customer Satisfaction Excellent Promotion Organization in the past 20 years’ by China Association for Quality. In 2017, it was recognized as a model society by Guangdong Association of science and technology. In 2018, it was recognized as an excellent social organization by Federation of NGOs of Guangdong Province. In 2019, it was awarded as a Five-Star association by Guangdong Provincial Association for Science and Technology.
